Naomi's Fairy Costume

I made this! Today!! I started late this morning and its done! I am really impressed with myself. If you can't tell for sure, its a fairy. She is a "pink tink" as she calls it. The tulle itself cost under $10 since I bought it online. I already had the ribbon so $10 for a custom made halloween costume - awesome! For actual Halloween she is going to have something underneath (maybe a leotard) with some bright pink tights. I do still have to make her a flower clip - as in I have to learn how to make flower clips.

I don't know where this face came from, but WOW!

And a hint for Gwen's costume that I will be making sometime soon. You can tell she has never had her haircut in this picture; its time!

Now for fun a picture of Gwen - who fell asleep directly in front of the TV, in Naomi's sweater.

And here are the body organs that I had to throw away because of the smell. The grapes were actually bubbling! GROSS!!

You are so creative!!! I absolutely love her costume!! And you can tell she isn't feeling well in one of those pictures. She looks a little pale. Poor thing. Those body organs are cool. Gross...but cool! Haha. Sorry they rotted. :(

You said one of my kids "looks" pale! hahaha. That is funny to me! But you are right she is not feeling too hot right now.

You made her costume?!? I saw them on facebook and she looks adorable! Nice sewing skills!

I love your idea of the organs. Too bad they started growing :(

No sewing involved at all! Crazy huh? They are super easy!

I am so impressed. I love the costumes. I got out of making costumes this year. Maeve is Belle. And Ruby is a unicorn pegasus--I actually found a premade costume.

I seriously DO love the no-sew technique. Yours look great, too! Super easy and super cute. And I tried putting an artichoke out for decoration. The bottom half (in the vase) rotted and smelled straight up nasty. The things we try to beautify (or creepify) our homes. I tell ya.

Why does Naomi have a bigger rack than me in those pictures? I guess I need that dress.

I'm so glad you caught the boobage Jennifer! It was worse when I first made the costume. I was laughing hysterically, I almost peed myself! Naomi loves it though! She loves having boobs! She's related to you! She knows their true value. But its just all that tulle poufing up!
