The beauty of having a doctor's office that has after hours where I can call in anytime of night to ask a question is so amazing, such a blessing! Gwen woke up last night with a 103.8 temperature. I had no idea what to do. Mostly I never remember what the cut off is for when its an emergency! So I called and talked to a nurse who just assured me that as long as I can get it down with Tylenol or Motrin or even a warm bath, we could keep her home and monitor her. Thank goodness! 4:30 in the AM is not the time you want to run over to the emergency room - not that I haven't done it before!

Oh poor little Gwen! I hope she's feeling better! Just so you know there is a possibility I won't stop by tonight. We may have to work late again. There is a chance I'll be off my 6ish though and that's what I'm hoping for. I want to see you guys, even if it's just for a little bit. I have piano lessons at 8:30. I'll either show up later or call you.
I think it is so sad when tots have fevers. They are so lethargic. I'm glad you got it down. Any symptoms today?
oh no poor Gwen! how is she doing today?
Wait a minute - I just noticed the "not that I haven't done it before" part. What? When?
When Gwen was less than 6 weeks old she had a fever. We took her over to the hospital at like 4 in the morning. We were there for the ENTIRE day and it was just a stupid cold!
